Jury Service

Our CEO joins the jury of the Festival of Media’s very first Cause Campaign Awards.

At Asociat, our mission is to help businesses invest in improving the lives of the communities they serve – as an intrinsic part of their service offering. To show how business can create positive long-term societal change while also meeting their commercial aims and shareholder obligations.

We believe the former does not have to be compromised by the latter.

It’s still early days, success is not guaranteed. We still see major corporations saying one thing, and doing another.

Which is why we’re delighted to announce our CEO is joining the panel of esteemed judges for Festival of Media‘s  inaugural Cause Campaign Awards – to get a real insight into how the #advertising and #media sectors are doing in living up to their mission statements and values.

These awards take a compelling approach. Working across the three pillars of people, places and planet, the jury are looking to see how campaigns have been set up to educate, raise awareness or significantly change attitudes, perceptions and behaviours over the long term.

As Michael says, too often, cause related campaigns are short lived, and only scratch the surface of what is possible. It can make you question the real motivations behind the campaign. These awards aim to recognise those who are moving the dial with long term commitments to positive and lasting change.

The award ceremony will take place on Thursday 22nd October 2022.

Advertising and media businesses on the judging panel include Dentsu, Havas, Initiative, Wavemaker, Mindshare, Mediacom, Meta and OMD.

The panel also includes representatives from social enterprises who have been founded to help make the world a better place. They include Isla, Cause for Change and the Good Loop.

Purpose will be central to rebuilding brands in the society that is emerging after the pandemic. The businesses that will not just survive, but thrive, over the coming months and years will be those whose leaders embrace the notion that there is no merit in profit without purpose.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
