Fred Sirieix Visits Home Kitchen

Broadcaster, maître d’, bon-viveur and famed host of The Undateables,  Fred Sirieix stopped by Home Kitchen: The Social Impact Restaurant to film a behind-the-scenes feature on the BBC’s prime time talk show, The One Show.

A special visit for a special cause

The broadcast was a highlight in what has been a deluge of media interest since Home Kitchen opened its doors to the public just a few short months ago.  BBC broadcast news have also covered the restaurant’s compelling mission to end homelessness through the medium of fine dining, which came hot on the heels of an in-depth piece on Today; the USA’s biggest daily chat show with over 84 million viewers.

The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Spectator, The New York Times, El Mundo, The Big Issue, The Independent and many others have formed a queue to speak to us and to see how we are doing, proof indeed that everyone loves a good news story.

Fred dropped into the restaurant’s beautiful Primrose Hill premises to speak with Michelin star winning Executive Chef Adam Simmonds,  alongside some of the first cohort of recruits including Seb, Liam, Tony, Lily and Adebowale.

Purpose will be central to rebuilding brands in the society that is emerging after the pandemic. The businesses that will not just survive, but thrive, over the coming months and years will be those whose leaders embrace the notion that there is no merit in profit without purpose.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
