Home Kitchen Get The Keys

We’ve finally done it.

We here at Asociat have helped our client get the keys, and take ownership of a 14 year lease in Primrose Hill to launch Home Kitchen – the social impact restaurant at the site of the legendary eater formerly known as Odette’s at 130 Regent’s Park Road.

As you may know, Home Kitchen will be the world’s first fine dining restaurant to be staffed by homeless people – who will benefit from full-time contracts paid at London Living Wage, with travel expenses and pro catering training and qualifications all covered by Home Kitchen.

Primrose Hill will be the first site for a fine dining concept with a mission to scale to other cities with significant homeless communities – in the UK and internationally.

The Executive Chef is the two-time Michelin star winner Adam Simmonds and there is a leadership team drawn from the catering and hospitality, advertising, and charity sectors including Asociat founder, Michael Brown.

The restaurant will be open to the public on September 4th 2024, with soft launches from the third week in August.

Home Kitchen already has some of its first cohort in training at training partners: Beyond Food Foundation and wonderfully Big Issue Invest, part of Big Issue Group have become a significant business partner in this social impact venture.

Phew… It’s been a hell of a journey getting here – not only has there been the most epic fundraising drive, we lost two previous sites at the lease negotiation stage amongst many other adventures.

Many thanks to all our partners and supporters for getting us this far.

Purpose will be central to rebuilding brands in the society that is emerging after the pandemic. The businesses that will not just survive, but thrive, over the coming months and years will be those whose leaders embrace the notion that there is no merit in profit without purpose.
