Home Kitchen served shortlist double

Us folks at Asociat are super stoked to share!

The shortlists are out for the Festival of Media Cause Campaign Awards 2023 and our client’s at  Home Kitchen – the social impact restaurant are amongst the great and good!

That will do for starters!

We made it in two categories: Long Term Project and Changing Cultural Perceptions – both categories chiming very loudly with Home Kitchen’s mission; to change the flawed public perception of homeless people – when 42% of all UK bosses say they would fire a member of staff who became homeless on their watch, we know we have a lot to do.

Recognition like this brings us closer to achieving our goal.

If the shortlist is the starter, hopefully the main course will be winning gold! Which of the shortlisted campaigns will be crowned best around the world for 2023 will be revealed at the Festival of Media Cause Campaign Awards ceremony on Thursday 23rd November 2023.

The awards where launched in 2022 as a platform to show the global media industry is making a difference around the planet and showcasing it as a force for good. Michael Brown, Asociat founder, was a part of the original team that helped Festival of Media CEO Jeremy King to shape how the awards should be structured, judged and awarded.

This year, the list of countries with the most shortlisted work are the UK, Germany, USA, Canada, India, Australia, Mexico and Costa Rica and features campaigns from the biggest media players including Mindshare, Havas, Dentsu, PHD, OMD, Wavemaker, Zenith and Publicis. Which is why we’re  delighted;  to be competing with such illustrious company means we have truly arrived as an organisation committed to making the world a better place.

Purpose will be central to rebuilding brands in the society that is emerging after the pandemic. The businesses that will not just survive, but thrive, over the coming months and years will be those whose leaders embrace the notion that there is no merit in profit without purpose.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
